An exhibition of photographs titled Adoration of Wilderness (Ishq Al Falaa), showing the desert culture of Qatar as captured by Sheikh Khaled bin Hamad bin Ahmad Al Thani was held in Mayfair, London.
The expo, which was coordinated by Macintyre Art Advisory at the Air Gallery, Mayfair, opened on May 26 and was scheduled to conclude yesterday.
Sponsored by Qatar Airways and Strategic Real Estate Advisors, this impressive collection of photographs documenting the wilderness outside Doha was the first of its kind to be showcased in London.
Supported by the Qatar Photographic Society and the Qatar Museums Authority, in Doha the show had attracted an array of international visitors, and was attended by the Emir H H Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani on its opening night during the Seventh Doha Cultural Festival this year.
