The StratREAL Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of young people around the world, primarily through education, health and housing.
Founded by Pierre Rolin, Chairman and Chief Executive of Strategic Real Estate Advisors, the StratREAL Foundation takes an entrepreneurial approach:
Synergy - the Foundation is actively working with its partners to develop innovative programmes that utilise the skills and experience of its partnerships;- Multiplicity - donations are focused upon achieving a multiplier effect whereby funds can be leveraged to generate additional support;
- Accountability - all partners report to and meet with the Board of Trustees at least twice each year to monitor progress and assess impact.
The Foundation is keenly focussed on avoiding bureaucracy, overheads and red tape and thus works through carefully selected charitable partners. Partnerships are initiated and tested through individual programmes that benefit young people in need, enabling the Foundation and its partners to understand each others’ capabilities, constraints, objectives and potential contributions.
An invitation to give
As the Foundation moves into the second stage of its strategy, we are now in a position to invite fellow philanthropists to join us.
In its first few years, the Foundation focused on developing relationships with partner charities and understanding their capabilities and constraints. The partners and programmes that we currently support are highlighted on this website, and from this the potential for innovative synergies to address the unmet needs of young people around the world is clear.
In the second phase of its strategy, the Foundation is challenging partners to highlight potential programme areas that are necessary, innovative and impactful, but which require core competencies beyond those of any individual organisation.
