The StratREAL Foundation Raises Over £150,000 for Underprivileged Children at Inaugural Charity Gala
The StratREAL Foundation raised over £150,000 for underprivileged children at its inaugural charity gala and auction at Claridge’s on Saturday March 24th 2007.
The event saw the international business community and representatives from the foundation’s partner charities come together with one sole aim - to give young people a chance - and the guests were addressed by Ute-Henriette Ohoven, UNESCO’s Special Ambassador for the Education of Children in Need.
The gala featured performances by the Gipsy Legends and was supported by Lorenzo Quinn and Bryan Adams, both of whom donated auction prizes. The highlight of the evening was the auctioning of the Signature Smart Car which had gathered celebrities’ signatures including those of Koffi Annan, Bill Clinton, Heidi Klum and Beyonce Knowles.
Pierre Rolin, Chairman and Chief Executive of The StratREAL Foundation, said "The StratREAL Foundation’s inaugural charity gala created an opportunity for likeminded people to gather together and help improve the lives of children throughout the world. I would like to thank everyone for their hard work and generosity, and look forward to witnessing the difference that they have all made through their actions."
